I gaze at you with trepidation.
Vulnerable, I lay out my bones
The curse of my mundane existence
Screams out
Your lips,
Soft and tender,
Reach across the void,
Laying blessings across my skin.
Colours cross and blend
Unbidden, your warmth expands within me.
I am fulfilled in your grasp.
But our rendezvous is brief,
Your brother is almost here,
And so you leave me.
Yearning and breathless.
Satisfied for only an instant.
