This piece was created with the intention of contrasting two of Billie Eilish's emotions. The multiple images of Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, which were all shot by me at her Vancouver show in June of 2019, were used to show her when she is at her happiest (which on multiple occasions she has said is when she is performing). The blue overlay is from a photoshoot for her upcoming documentary, "The World's A Little Blurry" - hence the text in the center, shot by Kenneth Cappello. The colours of this overlay represent the sadness Billie was feeling while writing her album, where she has expressed was some of her darkest times as of yet. Not only does the text in the center correspond with her upcoming film, but the text was taken from her lyrics from 'Ilomilo", a song from her album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" Additionally, these lyrics also represent Billie Eilish's quick rise to fame, as when your life is moving at a rapid pace, you might not notice as much and everything around you may appear blurry. This is a piece that I am especially proud of, as Billie Eilish has been someone I've looked up to for a long time with her young age and amazing talents in both the music and fashion industry.
